  • Author: sara
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Yield: 4 servings 1x
  • Diet: Paleo

Description

Juicy pork chops seared to perfection in a rich garlic butter sauce, perfect for family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • Bone-in or boneless pork chops
  • 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • Fresh thyme or rosemary, for garnish
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Bring the pork chops to room temperature and season generously with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and melt the butter until foamy. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds.
  3. Carefully place the pork chops in the skillet and sear each side for about 4-5 minutes, or until golden brown.
  4. Once flipped, add fresh herbs to the pan and baste the chops with the garlic butter.
  5. Use a meat thermometer to ensure your pork reaches an internal temperature of 145°F. Remove from skillet and let rest for at least 5 minutes.
  6. Plate the pork chops, drizzle with the garlic-butter sauce, and garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute butter with olive oil. Chicken thighs can be used instead of pork for a different flavor.
