Description

Ingredients

  • Thinly sliced roast beef
  • Au jus (homemade or store-bought)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Fresh or dried thyme
  • Fresh or dried rosemary
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. If making homemade biscuits, combine flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Cut in cold butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs, then add milk and mix until combined. Knead gently and roll out before cutting into rounds.
  3. Place cut biscuits on a lined baking sheet, brush with melted butter, and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
  4. While biscuits are baking, warm sliced roast beef in a skillet over medium heat with minced garlic and herbs until fragrant.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat the broth over medium heat until simmering. Add soy sauce and seasonings to taste, let it simmer and reduce slightly.
  6. Assemble by splitting the warm biscuits, filling them with roast beef, and serving with au jus for dipping.

Notes
