- 1 cup apple cider
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 teaspoons fresh thyme
- 2 teaspoons fresh rosemary
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Sauté the onions and garlic in melted butter until soft and fragrant—about 3 minutes.
- Brown the chicken thighs, seasoned with salt and pepper, on both sides until golden—approximately 5–7 minutes per side.
- Deglaze the skillet with apple cider, scraping up browned bits; add thyme and rosemary.
- Cover and simmer for 30 minutes until chicken is cooked through at 165°F.
- Serve with the cider sauce and garnish with fresh herbs.

Serve over creamy mashed potatoes or crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
