- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 10 ounces mini marshmallows
- 4 tablespoons butter
- Green food coloring
- Assorted candies (chocolate bolts, gummy eyes, colorful sprinkles)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over medium heat, being careful not to brown it.
- Add mini marshmallows to the pan and stir continuously until completely melted and smooth. Mix in food coloring if desired.
- Remove from heat and fold in Rice Krispies until covered in the marshmallow mixture.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan for even distribution.
- Decorate with candies to create the Frankenstein design.
- Allow to cool completely for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares or monster shapes.
Notes
For a dairy-free version, substitute butter with coconut oil. Use gluten-free Rice Krispies to cater to dietary restrictions.
