- ¾ cup granulated sugar
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup milk
- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder

- ½ cup crushed pretzels
- Flamin’ Hot seasoning (1-2 teaspoons, adjustable to taste)
- Coarse salt, for sprinkling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it with butter.
- Cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing well, then mix in the milk.
- Sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda in another bowl.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Gently fold in the crushed pretzels and Flamin’ Hot seasoning.
- Fill the muffin cups about two-thirds full and sprinkle tops with extra pretzel bits and a hint of salt.
- Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Allow to cool for five minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with almond or coconut flour, adjusting liquid as necessary. Use applesauce as a binder if out of eggs.
