Description
Tender steak bites seasoned and seared to perfection, drizzled with homemade chili butter for an irresistible flavor explosion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb flank or sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1 tbsp chili powder (or smoked paprika for milder flavor)
- 1 stick unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
- Fresh parsley or cilantro, for garnish
- Juice of 1 lemon (or lime)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the steak into bite-sized cubes and season with salt, pepper, and chili powder. Marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Add minced garlic, chili powder, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Stir until fragrant and keep warm.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and sear the steak cubes in batches for 2-3 minutes until browned. Avoid overcrowding the pan.
- Remove the skillet from heat and pour the warm chili butter over the steak bites. Toss gently to coat.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve immediately on a platter.
Notes
For a dairy-free option, replace butter with olive oil. Add sautéed mushrooms for extra flavor.
