- Frosting (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 3-4 minutes).
- Add eggs one at a time, followed by vanilla and almond extracts; mix until fully combined.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the wet mixture, mixing just until combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean from the center.
- Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
- Frost as desired and cut into squares to serve.

Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting for neater edges. Use parchment paper for easy removal.
