Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup sugar or honey
- 2 cups sparkling water
- ¼ cup fresh citrus juice (lime or orange)
- Fresh herbs (mint or rosemary) for garnish
Instructions
- Rinse 1 cup of fresh cranberries. In a small saucepan, combine them with ½ cup of water and ½ cup of sugar (or honey) to create a cranberry simple syrup. Simmer over medium heat for about 10 minutes until cranberries burst and the mixture thickens slightly. Strain to remove solids and cool.
- In a pitcher, combine the cooled syrup with 2 cups of sparkling water and ¼ cup of fresh citrus juice. Stir gently to mix.
- Serve over ice, garnished with more fresh cranberries and a sprig of mint or rosemary for a festive look.
- For an extra touch, rim your glasses with sugar before pouring.
