Instructions
- Prepare your workspace: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- Make the cookie dough: Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add egg and vanilla, then mix in flour and salt.
- Chill the dough: Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough to ¼ inch thickness and cut out shapes using cookie cutters.
