Description

A delightful, sweet, and slightly spiced pull-apart monkey bread perfect for Christmas morning gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans of biscuits (canned or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a Bundt pan generously with non-stick spray or melted butter.
  3. Separate and cut the biscuits into quarters.
  4. In a bowl, mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and optional nutmeg. Toss the biscuit pieces in the mixture until coated.
  5. Layer the biscuit pieces in the Bundt pan, adding chopped nuts between layers if desired, and pour melted butter over the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown and the dough pulls apart easily.
  7. Cool for a few minutes before inverting onto a serving plate.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

To ensure the monkey bread remains soft, cover it with aluminum foil halfway through baking. For a sweeter finish, drizzle with a mixture of powdered sugar and heavy cream after cooling slightly.
