Description

A nostalgic, creamy, and rich chocolate fudge recipe that brings joy to holiday celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: Chopped nuts, holiday sprinkles, or crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Line an 8-inch square baking dish with parchment paper, allowing overhang for easy removal.
  2. Melt the Base: In a saucepan over low heat, combine chocolate chips, butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Stir continuously until melted and smooth.
  3. Add Flavor: Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract. If using, gently fold in nuts or sprinkles.
  4. Spread and Chill: Pour the mixture into the prepared dish and spread evenly. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours to set.
  5. Cut and Serve: Lift the fudge from the pan using the parchment, and cut into squares. Optionally, dust with sea salt before serving.

Notes

Let the fudge chill longer for a firmer texture. Store in an airtight container for up to a week.
