- For crumb topping: 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup melted butter
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mix together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, spices, and salt in a large bowl.
- Whisk together the eggs, melted butter, and eggnog in a separate bowl until smooth, then add the vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir gently until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan, smoothing the top.
- Mix the crumb topping ingredients in a small bowl until crumbly and sprinkle over the batter.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
For an added twist, drizzle a simple glaze made from powdered sugar and eggnog over the cooled bread.
