Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the apples by coring them, leaving the bottom intact.
- Make the cheesecake filling by blending cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg until smooth.
- Stuff each apple with the cheesecake filling, mounding slightly above the top.
- Arrange the stuffed apples in a baking dish and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until apples are tender and filling is puffed.
- Cool for a few minutes before serving, optionally with caramel sauce or whipped cream.
