Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, chopped (70% cocoa)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a mini cake pan.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until fluffy and light, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time.
- Sift in the flour and gently fold it into the batter.
- Pour the batter into the mini cake pan, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare ganache by heating heavy cream and pouring over chopped chocolate.
- Cool the cakes completely before removing them from the pan.
- Spoon ganache over each mini cake and allow it to set before serving.
Notes
These cakes can be served with whipped cream, mint, or additional strawberries for decoration.
