Ingredients
- Fresh Strawberries
- Pre-made Tart Shells or homemade buttery shortbread
- Cream Cheese
- Powdered Sugar
- Heavy Cream
- Dark Chocolate
Instructions
- Prepare the Tart Shells: If using pre-made shells, place them on a baking tray. If making your own, preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden; cool completely.
- Make the Filling: Beat cream cheese until creamy, add powdered sugar, and whisk smooth. Pour in heavy cream and beat until fluffy; chill for 30 minutes.
- Prepare the Strawberries: Wash and dry strawberries, hull them for elegance.
- Melt the Chocolate: Melt dark chocolate until smooth using a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals.
- Assemble the Tartlets: Fill each tart shell with cream filling, dip strawberries in melted chocolate, and place on top.
- Chill and Serve: Chill assembled tartlets for at least an hour; serve with cocoa powder or chocolate shavings.
Notes
Ensure cream cheese is at room temperature for better blending. Do not overfill tart shells to avoid mess.
