Instructions

  2. Cream together the unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and sea salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in toffee bits.
  7. Drop dollops of dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and sprinkle with extra sea salt.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden and centers are soft.
  9. Cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
