Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

  2. Cream together unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy (about 2-3 minutes).
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing in the vanilla extract until just combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt; slowly add to wet ingredients until no dry flour remains.
  5. Fold in chocolate chunks and toffee bits with a spatula.
  6. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, spacing them apart.
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are golden but centers remain soft.
  8. Cool on the sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For chewier cookies, refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes before baking.
