Ingredients

  • 100g high-quality dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 24 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until silky smooth.
  2. Prepare the avocados by slicing in half, removing pits, and scooping flesh into a food processor.
  3. Add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lemon juice to the processor and purée until smooth and creamy.
  4. Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or chocolate intensity as needed.
  5. Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for a firmer consistency.
  6. Spoon the mousse into bowls and garnish with fresh berries, a sprinkle of sea salt, or a dollop of whipped cream.
