- 100g high-quality dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2–4 tablespoons maple syrup or honey (to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Melt the chocolate in a double boiler or microwave until silky smooth.
- Prepare the avocados by slicing in half, removing pits, and scooping flesh into a food processor.
- Add the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and lemon juice to the processor and purée until smooth and creamy.
- Taste the mixture and adjust sweetness or chocolate intensity as needed.
- Serve immediately or chill in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes for a firmer consistency.
- Spoon the mousse into bowls and garnish with fresh berries, a sprinkle of sea salt, or a dollop of whipped cream.
