- 4 boneless turkey fillets
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (traditional or panko)
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fresh sage, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Pat the turkey fillets dry with a paper towel, then season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a bowl, combine breadcrumbs, chopped herbs, and minced garlic. Add olive oil gradually until it resembles wet sand.
- Coat each turkey fillet with the breadcrumb mixture, pressing lightly.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat with olive oil. Sear the fillets for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden.
- Transfer the browned fillets to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until the turkey is cooked through (165°F/74°C).
- Warm the cranberry sauce in a saucepan over low heat.
- Serve the turkey fillets drizzled with warm cranberry sauce.
Notes
For a vegetarian option, substitute turkey with portobello mushrooms.
