Ingredients

- 4 cups fresh cranberries
- 2 oranges (zest and juice)
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Rinse cranberries and discard any damaged ones.
- Zest and juice the oranges, collecting all citrus goodness.
- In a Crockpot, combine cranberries, orange zest, orange juice, sugar, spices, and water.
- Set the Crockpot to low and cook for 4 to 6 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Once cranberries burst and the jam thickens, blend gently with a potato masher if desired.
- Jar the jam into sterilized containers, leaving half an inch of space at the top.
- Allow to cool, seal, and store in the fridge or share with friends.
Notes
Cranberries can be substituted with frozen ones. Add chopped apples or pears for variation. Avoid skipping the zest for best flavor.
