Description

A delightful blend of tart cranberries, sweet apples, and vibrant oranges, slow-cooked to perfection with warming spices for a festive treat.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups apples, chopped
  • 2 oranges, zested and juiced
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Rinse the cranberries and remove any bruised ones. Core and chop the apples into small chunks. Zest and juice the oranges.
  2. In a large bowl, mix the cranberries, apples, orange zest, orange juice, sugar, and spices. Stir well.
  3. Pour the mixture into your crockpot and optionally add a hint of vanilla extract.
  4. Set your crockpot on low and cook for 6-8 hours, stirring halfway through.
  5. Once cooked, mash the jam to your desired texture and let it cool before transferring to sterilized jars.
  6. Seal your jars and store them in the refrigerator for up to a month or follow canning methods for longer storage.

This jam can be used as a spread, or filling for cookies and pairs well with cheese boards.
