- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- Olive oil or vegetable oil for drizzling
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Peel and slice the onions into thick rings, about half an inch thick.
- In a bowl, combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, beat the eggs.
- Dip each onion ring first in the seasoned flour, then into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Place the coated onion rings on a parchment-lined baking sheet, ensuring adequate space between them.
- Drizzle the rings lightly with oil.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce or enjoy on their own.
Notes
For a vegan option, substitute eggs with a flaxseed mixture and use nutritional yeast in place of Parmesan.
