Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chili sauce or Sriracha (optional)
  • Green onions and sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil. Add chicken wings and marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix cornstarch and flour with a pinch of salt and pepper.
  3. Remove wings from marinade and shake off excess. Dredge in cornstarch-flour mixture until coated.
  4. Heat oil in a deep skillet over medium-high heat and fry wings for 8-10 minutes per side until golden brown, or bake at 425°F (220°C) for 30 minutes, turning once.
  5. Serve with a dipping sauce made of soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame seeds.
