Description

Delightful crispy chicken tacos wrapped in wonton shells, bursting with flavor and perfect for gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs), chopped
  • 10 wonton wrappers
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 green onions, chopped
  • 1 cup cabbage or lettuce, shredded
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Chop the chicken into small pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Lay wonton wrappers on a clean surface, place a tablespoon of cooked chicken in the center, fold, and seal the edges tightly.
  5. Fry the folded wontons in hot oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
  6. Serve hot, layered with cabbage or lettuce, and drizzle with sauce.

Notes

Keep the oil temperature consistent for crispy wontons. Avoid overcrowding the pan while frying.
