- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs), chopped
- 10 wonton wrappers
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 cup cabbage or lettuce, shredded
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- Chop the chicken into small pieces and season with salt, pepper, garlic, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Let marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated chicken to the skillet and cook until golden brown and fully cooked, about 5-7 minutes.
- Lay wonton wrappers on a clean surface, place a tablespoon of cooked chicken in the center, fold, and seal the edges tightly.
- Fry the folded wontons in hot oil for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden and crispy.
- Serve hot, layered with cabbage or lettuce, and drizzle with sauce.
Notes
Keep the oil temperature consistent for crispy wontons. Avoid overcrowding the pan while frying.
