- 1 cup Orzo Pasta
- 2 cups Fresh Spinach
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 1 cup Heavy Cream
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 1 cup Vegetable Broth
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a pot of salted boiling water, add the orzo and cook until al dente, according to package instructions.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Toss in the fresh spinach, stirring until wilted.
- Pour in the heavy cream and vegetable broth, bringing the mixture to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
- Add the cooked orzo to the skillet, tossing to combine. Adjust the consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
- Season with salt, pepper, and additional herbs. Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan.
Notes
For a gourmet flair, add roasted garlic or a dash of truffle oil just before serving.
