Ingredients
- Pasta (penne or rotini)
- Butter
- Fresh garlic
- Heavy cream
- Parmesan cheese
- Salt
- Pepper
- Mushrooms (sautéed)
- Fresh herbs (parsley or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large pot of salted boiling water, cook pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat, add minced garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and simmer for a few minutes before adding Parmesan.
- In a large bowl, combine pasta, sautéed mushrooms, and creamy sauce. Fold gently until coated.
- Transfer to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and sprinkle any leftover Parmesan on top.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
- Let sit for a few minutes before serving, garnishing with fresh herbs if desired.
Notes
Adding cooked chicken, bacon, or spinach can enhance the dish further.
