Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until pink—about 2-3 minutes per side.
  3. Once the shrimp is cooked, sprinkle in the paprika and stir to coat.
  4. Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently until combined and simmering until thickened.
  5. If using, sauté bell peppers or onions separately and fold them into the skillet before serving.
  6. Garnish with fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
