- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sweet paprika
- 1 cup heavy cream
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: bell peppers or onions, sliced
- Fresh parsley or dill, for garnish
- Lemon juice, to taste
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper, and cook until pink—about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Once the shrimp is cooked, sprinkle in the paprika and stir to coat.
- Lower the heat and pour in the heavy cream, stirring gently until combined and simmering until thickened.
- If using, sauté bell peppers or onions separately and fold them into the skillet before serving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs and a squeeze of lemon juice before serving.
Notes
Serve over rice or pasta for a complete meal. Paired well with crusty bread and a chilled white wine.
