  • Yield: 8 servings 1x
  • Diet: Vegetarian

Description

A vibrant and creamy dip featuring goat cheese and fresh cranberries, perfect for gatherings and celebrations.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz soft goat cheese
  • 1 cup fresh cranberries
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, thyme, or parsley
  • 4 oz cream cheese (optional)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions

  1. If using fresh cranberries, rinse them under cold water and pat dry. Cook cranberries with honey over medium heat for 5-10 minutes until they begin to burst.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine goat cheese, softened cream cheese (if using), cooked cranberries, and lemon juice. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gradually add honey or maple syrup to taste.
  4. Finely chop and fold in fresh herbs.
  5. Taste and adjust flavors, adding more salt or honey as necessary.
  6. Transfer dip to a festive dish and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving.

Notes

Allow dip to chill for better flavor melding. It’s often better the next day.
