  • 6 ounces blanco tequila
  • 4 ounces fresh lime juice
  • 4 ounces orange liqueur (Cointreau or triple sec)
  • 2 ounces simple syrup (or to taste)

  • Whole cranberries, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Blend fresh cranberries in a food processor until smooth. Strain through a fine sieve to separate juice from pulp.
  2. In a shaker, combine 2 ounces of cranberry puree, 1.5 ounces of tequila, 1 ounce of lime juice, and 1 ounce of orange liqueur.
  3. Shake vigorously with ice for about 15 seconds.
  4. Rim glassware with sugar or a mix of salt and sugar, then pour the mixture over fresh ice.
  5. Garnish with rosemary or mint, and drop in a few cranberries if desired.
