Deliciously vibrant tarts filled with a sweet-tangy cranberry and spicy jalapeño mixture, perfect for gatherings.
Ingredients

- 1 cup fresh cranberries
- 1–2 jalapeños, minced
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 tablespoon fresh cilantro or chives
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour and salt, then cut in butter until resembling coarse crumbs. Add ice water and chill for 30 minutes.
- Mix cream cheese, minced jalapeños, cranberries, and sugar in a bowl. Season with salt and pepper.
- Roll out chilled dough to 1/8-inch thickness, cut out circles, and place in tart pans.
- Fill with cranberry-jalapeño mixture and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Cool slightly and serve warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Feel free to adjust jalapeño levels for spice preference; add red pepper flakes for extra kick.
