- ⅓ cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and sugar.
- Cut in the cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Fold in the cranberries and jalapeños.
- In a small bowl, mix cream cheese and milk until smooth, then add to the flour mixture until combined.
- Shape the dough into a circle about 1 inch thick and cut into wedges.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 18-20 minutes.
- Serve warm with cream cheese or jam.
Notes
For a gluten-free version, substitute all-purpose flour with a gluten-free blend. Adjust jalapeños based on spice preference.
