Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh cranberries
  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup crushed pineapple, drained
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1/2 cup sugar

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients, washing the cranberries and drying any excess moisture.
  2. Combine the fresh cranberries and sugar in a mixing bowl and let them macerate for 30 minutes.
  3. Fold in the drained crushed pineapple.
  4. Whip the whipped topping until light and airy, or ensure cream cheese is at room temperature if using.
  5. Gently fold the whipped topping into the cranberry mixture and add mini marshmallows and chopped nuts, reserving a few for garnishing.
  6. Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl, decorate with reserved nuts and additional marshmallows, and chill for at least 1 hour.
  7. Stir gently before serving and enjoy!
