Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups fresh cranberries
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 pie crust (homemade or store-bought)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Rinse and sort fresh cranberries, removing any damaged ones.
- In a mixing bowl, combine eggs and sugar, whisking until light and frothy. Add milk, vanilla extract, and melted butter, mixing well.
- Gently fold in the flour until smooth.
- Fold the cranberries into the custard mixture, ensuring even distribution.
- If using a pre-made pie crust, place it in a pie dish. If making homemade, roll out dough and crimp edges.
- Pour the filling into the prepared crust and bake for 45-55 minutes or until the custard is set.
- Allow to cool for at least one hour before serving.
Notes
Serve warm or chilled. If crust edges brown too quickly, cover with foil during baking.
