A sweet and tart Cranberry Custard Pie that evokes the warmth of family gatherings and creates lasting memories.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 Pie Crust (store-bought or homemade)
  • 2 cups Fresh Cranberries (or thawed frozen cranberries)
  • 3 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg or Cinnamon (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Roll out your pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie pan.
  2. Blind bake the crust for about 10-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Whisk together eggs, sugar, heavy cream, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until well combined.
  4. Fold in the cranberries, ensuring they’re evenly coated with the custard mixture.
  5. Pour the custard mixture into the pre-baked pie crust, leaving a little space at the top.
  6. Bake for 40-45 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  7. Cool at room temperature for about an hour before transferring to the refrigerator.
  8. Serve chilled or at room temperature, garnished with whipped cream or powdered sugar.

Notes

Cranberries offer health benefits like high vitamin C and antioxidants. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3-4 days.
