Description

Deliciously flaky phyllo cups filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberries, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package phyllo dough
  • 8 oz brie cheese, cut into slices
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme or rosemary
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
  • Butter or olive oil for layering

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Unroll the phyllo dough, cut into squares, and layer a few sheets while brushing melted butter between layers.
  3. Press the layered squares into a muffin tin to form cups.
  4. Mix cranberries with honey (or brown sugar) and herbs, optionally sautéing fresh cranberries in a skillet.
  5. Place a slice of brie in each cup and top with the cranberry mixture.
  6. Brush the tops with beaten egg for a glossy finish.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Work quickly with phyllo to prevent it from drying out. Overfilling may cause overflow during baking. Best served warm.
