Description

A delightful and versatile side dish featuring fresh green beans sautéed with garlic and butter for a burst of flavor.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 23 cloves fresh garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Toasted almonds or pecans (optional), for topping

Instructions

  1. Trim the ends of the green beans and rinse them in cool water. Set aside.
  2. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic to the skillet and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds to 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the green beans, coating them in the garlic butter, and cook for 5-7 minutes until tender-crisp.
  5. Season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper, then toss to combine.
  6. Remove from heat and top with toasted nuts if desired. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute butter with olive oil. Keep an eye on the beans to avoid overcooking them.
