Description
A rich and moist bread with swirls of cinnamon sugar, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup plain yogurt (or Greek yogurt)
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 cup melted butter (or oil)
- 1/2 cup milk (whole or low-fat)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease a loaf pan with butter or cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, mix flour, sugars, baking powder, baking soda, and cinnamon until well blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together yogurt, eggs, melted butter, and milk until smooth.
- Slowly add dry ingredients into wet mixture and stir just until combined.
- Pour half the batter into the loaf pan and sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar over it. Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon sugar.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for smoother mixing. Allow the bread to cool completely before slicing for better cuts.
