Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked turkey breast, diced
  • 2 fresh apples, cored and diced
  • 1 cup celery, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cup walnuts, toasted
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (parsley or tarragon) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Chop your cooked turkey into bite-sized pieces and place in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Core and dice your apples, tossing with a bit of lemon juice to prevent browning.
  3. Finely chop the celery for crunch.
  4. Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat until fragrant.
  5. Whisk together the mayonnaise, salt, pepper, and lemon juice in a small bowl.
  6. Combine all ingredients in the bowl and mix gently until well-coated.
  7. Taste and adjust seasoning as needed.
  8. Chill for at least 60 minutes before serving.
