Description

A refreshing tropical dessert made with creamy coconut milk, chewy sago pearls, and ripe mango, perfect for family gatherings and celebrations.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup sago pearls
  • 2 cups full-fat coconut milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and sliced
  • Fresh lime juice

Instructions

  1. Rinse the sago pearls under cold water and boil in 3 cups of water for 10-15 minutes until translucent, stirring occasionally.
  2. In a saucepan, whisk together coconut milk, sugar, and salt over medium heat until the sugar dissolves without boiling.
  3. Once the sago is cooked, drain and rinse with cold water, then add to the coconut milk mixture and let cool.
  4. Slice the mango and prepare for serving.
  5. Spoon the mixture into bowls, top with mango slices, and add a squeeze of lime juice before serving.

Notes

Serve chilled or warm. Garnish with shredded coconut or mint for added flair.
