  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Gather your ingredients and set them on the counter.
  2. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) or heat a skillet over medium heat.
  3. In a small bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon in a 3:1 ratio to prepare your cinnamon sugar.
  4. Generously spread softened butter on each slice of bread.
  5. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar mixture over the buttered bread slices.
  6. Toast in the oven for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or cook for 2-3 minutes on each side in the skillet until golden brown.
