- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb ground pork
- 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
- 2 eggs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
- 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, onion, parsley, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Mix with your hands and form into 1-inch meatballs.
- Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
- While meatballs bake, prepare cranberry sauce by simmering cranberries with sugar and water until they burst.
- Toss baked meatballs in cranberry sauce and serve warm.
Notes
For a lighter option, substitute turkey for the beef and pork. Vegetarian options can include mushrooms or lentils instead of meat.
