Description

Deliciously savory meatballs coated in a sweet-tart cranberry sauce, perfect for holiday gatherings and family traditions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs (Panko preferred)
  • 2 eggs
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (homemade or store-bought)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, eggs, garlic, onion, parsley, thyme, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Mix with your hands and form into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a lined baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  5. While meatballs bake, prepare cranberry sauce by simmering cranberries with sugar and water until they burst.
  6. Toss baked meatballs in cranberry sauce and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter option, substitute turkey for the beef and pork. Vegetarian options can include mushrooms or lentils instead of meat.
