- 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
- 12 oz Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
- 1 cup Sugar (for cranberry sauce)
- 1 cup Crushed Ginger Snap Cookies
- Optional Add-ins: Chopped nuts, chocolate shavings, or a sprinkle of cinnamon
Instructions
- In a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberries, sugar, and a splash of water. Cook until cranberries burst and sauce thickens, about 10-15 minutes. Let cool.
- In a mixing bowl, soften cream cheese until smooth. Whisk in powdered sugar and vanilla extract until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gently fold it into the cream cheese mixture.
- In trifle cups, layer crushed ginger snap cookies, cranberry sauce, and cream cheese mixture. Repeat layers and finish with whipped cream on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Garnish with crushed cookies or chopped nuts before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for better blending. Chill equipment for whipping cream, and taste as you go to adjust sweetness.
