- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped
- 1 cup toffee bits
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the flour and mix until combined, avoiding overmixing.
- Fold in the toasted pecans and toffee bits.
- Press the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
- Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- Melt the chocolate and spread it over the cooled bars.
- Allow the chocolate to set before slicing into bars.
