Delicious donuts filled with warm peanut butter and topped with powdered sugar, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Dough: Mix dry ingredients together in one bowl and wet ingredients in another. Gradually combine until just mixed.
  2. Chill: Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Shape the Donuts: Roll out dough to about 1/2 inch thick and cut out shapes using a donut cutter.
  4. Fill: Flatten a small piece of dough, place a spoonful of peanut butter and a few chocolate chips in the center, and seal with another piece of dough.
  5. Fry or Bake: Heat oil to 350°F and fry until golden, or bake at 375°F for 10-12 minutes.
  6. Finish: Dust with powdered sugar while warm and serve immediately.

Notes

For a healthier option, consider baking instead of frying and using whole wheat flour for added fiber. You can use dark chocolate for extra richness.
