- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 1 stick Unsalted Butter
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 cup Self-Rising Flour
- 1 cup Whole Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Melt the chocolate and butter in a saucepan over low heat until smooth.
- In a bowl, combine self-rising flour, sugar, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk milk and vanilla; fold into dry ingredients.
- Pour the melted chocolate mixture into a greased baking dish and scoop the batter on top.
- Bake for 30–35 minutes, until golden brown but gooey in the center.
- Let cool slightly, then serve, preferably with vanilla ice cream.
Notes
Enhance the flavor with espresso powder or a sprinkle of sea salt before serving.
