Description

Fluffy and indulgent pancakes infused with protein and chocolate for a delightful family breakfast.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
  • 1 cup rolled oats (ground for smoother texture)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or nut milk)
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (mini or regular)
  • Maple syrup (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the protein powder, ground oats, baking powder, and a pinch of salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, and a dash of vanilla extract.
  3. Gradually pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until combined.
  4. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  5. Preheat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease it.
  6. Pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes.
  7. Flip gently and cook until golden brown on the other side.
  8. Serve hot with a drizzle of maple syrup and additional chocolate chips on top.

Notes

Ensure your skillet is well-heated to achieve a perfect crispy edge. You can keep pancakes warm by placing them in a low oven.
