- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs

- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup pistachios, coarsely chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and baking powder.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips and chopped pistachios.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto a lined baking sheet, leaving space for spreading.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly golden and the centers still look soft.
- Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Chilling the dough for an hour before baking can help keep the cookies from spreading too much.
