- 1 lb boneless chicken (breast or thighs)
- 2 cups fresh broccoli
- 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Optional vegetables (carrots, bell peppers, snap peas)
- 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
- Sliced green onions for garnish
- Toasted sesame seeds for garnish
- Red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Marinate the chicken in soy sauce, garlic, and sesame oil for 15-30 minutes.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
- Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden brown and no longer pink (5-7 minutes).
- Toss in the broccoli and any additional veggies, cooking for another 3-5 minutes.
- Add a splash of soy sauce and honey, stirring to coat the ingredients.
- Serve over rice or quinoa, garnishing with sesame seeds and green onions.
- Sprinkle red pepper flakes for added kick, if desired.
Notes
For variety, substitute chicken with tofu or shrimp, and adjust the cooking time as needed.
