A comforting chicken bacon ranch casserole topped with crispy tater tots and melted cheddar cheese, perfect for family gatherings.

- 2 cups boneless chicken, diced
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 can cream of chicken soup
- 1 packet ranch dressing mix
- 4 cups tater tots, frozen
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- Optional: sautéed mushrooms or spinach
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook bacon until crispy, about 5 minutes. Set aside, leaving some grease.
- Add diced chicken to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 6-8 minutes.
- If using, add sautéed vegetables and cook until softened.
- In a large bowl, mix cooked chicken, sautéed veggies, cream of chicken soup, and ranch dressing mix. Stir in half of the bacon.
- Pour mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Layer tater tots on top, sprinkle with remaining bacon and cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until tater tots are golden brown and cheese is bubbly.
- Let cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
For extra crispy tater tots, add 5 minutes to the baking time. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
