Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Mash the ripe bananas in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir in the melted butter and brown sugar until well combined.
- Add the egg and mix until blended.
- In another bowl, whisk together the oats, flour, and baking soda.
- Slowly add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in any optional add-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
- Scoop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until edges are golden.
- Cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
